Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
  2. In your stand mixer, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing on low speed until incorporated.
  4. Gradually mix in your dry ingredients just until combined. Do not overmix.

  6. Using a cookie scoop, place mounds of dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
Baking
