  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (about 200g each) Buy whatever looks freshest.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Go for extra virgin for better taste.
  • 2 pieces lemons (juice of) Add more if you're feeling zesty.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Add an extra clove if you love garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano A key ingredient for Mediterranean flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Optional Ingredients
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved Great addition for sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Adds color and freshness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them.
  4. If you’re using cherry tomatoes, scatter them around the salmon in the baking dish.
  5. Slide the baking dish into the oven and let it bake for 15-20 minutes.

Notes
