Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry until it's about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, and diced jalapenos to create the filling.
- Use a pizza cutter to slice the puff pastry into rectangles, about 10 cm by 5 cm.
- Place a spoonful of the filling onto each pastry rectangle and fold over to seal.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
