Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 250 g quark Tesco's is budget-friendly and effective.
  • 100 g oats Rolled or quick oats are fine.
  • 50 g protein powder Vanilla or chocolate works well.
  • 2 pieces ripe bananas Use 3 for a more banana-y flavor.
  • 50 g peanut butter Natural peanut butter is recommended.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Local honey is preferable.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Use real vanilla for the best flavor.
  • a pinch salt Enhances flavor.
Optional Ingredients
  • as desired chopped nuts or dark chocolate chips Great additions for extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, mash your ripe bananas, then stir in the quark, peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine the oats, protein powder, and salt.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until combined. Optionally, fold in nuts or chocolate chips.
  5. Use a tablespoon to scoop out dough onto a lined baking tray, spacing them about an inch apart.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes.
  7. Once golden brown at the edges, take them out and let them cool on the tray for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
