  • 500 g ground chicken Free-range preferred
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil Use a good quality non-stick pan
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced 5 cloves if you need more flavor
  • 1 small onion, diced Yellow or red onion works
  • 1 medium bell pepper, diced Any color is fine, red is recommended
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce Kikkoman is a good choice
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce Essential for the firecracker flavor
  • 1 tablespoon honey Maple syrup can be used instead
  • to taste red pepper flakes Use sparingly for heat

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add the onion, pepper, and garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant and soft, around 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the ground chicken, cranking up the heat, and cook until it sizzles, ensuring it doesn't stick.
  4. Mix in soy sauce, honey, and Sriracha, ensuring all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  5. Cover the pan and let it simmer for 5 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
  6. Plate up the Firecracker Ground Chicken and serve in your preferred bowls.

Notes
